After stopping in Loveland for lunch, a brand new 2012 BMW 328i joined the convoy. Redesigned for 2012, the 328i is powered by a 240hp turbocharged 4 cylinder engine, which is new for 2012. Thanks to lighter weight and other improvements, the 2012 328i receives an impressive 36mpg highway rating from the EPA.

The first stop of the day for the 2012 Colorado Green Car Convoy: Alfalfa’s Market in Boulder. Some new vehicles joined us at the stop, including a Range Rover Evoque and an all-electric Nissan Leaf (pictured). Next stop: Longmont at 11:00, across the street from the Longmont Daily Times-Call.
